Overview

Trustless peer-to-peer asset exchange platform

Signex is a trustless peer-to-peer (P2P) exchange platform that enables two wallets to swap assets (ERC-20 tokens and ERC-721 NFTs) directly, securely, and without an intermediary.

Assets are escrowed in a smart contract and only released when both parties confirm. The initial deployment targets Base L2 to maximize low gas costs and developer friendliness.

Purpose

This document serves as the canonical product specification, technical blueprint, security guidance, and go-to-market plan for Signex's MVP and early expansion.

Key Features

Non-custodial exchange (assets held in smart contract escrow only)
Support for ERC-20 tokens, ERC-721 NFTs, and combinations
Atomic swaps with clear confirmation flow
Timeout and refund mechanisms for safety
Base L2 deployment for low fees

How It Works

1

Create a trade

User A specifies what they offer, what they want, and the counterparty wallet address

2

Counterparty joins

User B reviews and accepts the terms

3

Both parties deposit

Each deposits their asset(s) into the escrow smart contract

4

Confirm & execute

After both deposits, both parties confirm to trigger the atomic swap

5

Claim assets

Both parties claim their swapped assets from the contract
